Entertainment and most activities for Las Vegas Bikefest will take place at the Golden Nugget. Additionally, there will be vendors and some entertainment at vendor village at the Cashman Center.
Entertainment - The stage for featured entertainment is the pedestrian mall which is called “Fremont St Experience” on Fremont St. 2007 Entertainment has not been announced yet, but has featured some excellent bands in the past, including Canned Heat, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Marshall Tucker Band, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, and Steppenwolf with John Kay. By the way, Steppenwolf is scheduled to play Las Vegas on August 17, 2007 at Texas Station Casino! You can easily find Fremont St Experience, and nearby hotels, on the Las Vegas hotels map and then click on Golden Nugget or Fitzgeralds.
In 2007, registration and the host hotel for the Las Vegas Bikefest is at the Golden Nugget, 129 E Fremont St, Las Vegas. The Golden Nugget has a No Colors policy, and secure motorcycle parking is available for a fee. A good overflow hotel which is located across from Cashman Center is the Best Western Parkview Inn.
